Loose Screw Music is a creative production company founded by Derreion "Sace" Melton. What began as a record label created in high school has grown into a multidisciplinary company specializing in music, visual storytelling, marketing, and creative direction.

Music was the starting point, but it became the foundation for much more. Through writing, producing, recording, performing, and promoting his own work, Sace learned how to build an identity, connect with an audience, develop campaigns, and bring creative ideas from concept to completion.

While earning his degree from Texas Southern University, where he graduated with a 3.7 GPA and studied Entertainment Recording Industry Management with a minor in Radio, Television, and Film, Loose Screw Music became his real-world internship. It provided a space to gain hands-on experience in audio production, videography, photography, brand development, content creation, and marketing.

As an artist, Sace has performed on stages across the U.S, including SXSW, Warehouse Live, Legends Lounge, and opening for artists such as Boosie, Rob49, GZA, and Inspectah Deck. Every performance, campaign, video, and release strengthened his understanding of what it takes to build a compelling brand and create work that resonates.

That experience eventually expanded beyond his own music. Through Loose Screw Music, Sace began producing visual content and developing creative strategies for schools, nonprofit organizations, artists, and other businesses seeking to communicate their stories with clarity and authenticity.

Today, Loose Screw Music is more than a record label. It is a creative production company built to help ideas take shape through music production, photography, videography, marketing, and creative direction.

The music is still part of the story, but it is no longer the whole story.
